Our school's Duan Bing training and practice program is based on three interconnected elements of study.
First, the forms (Tao Lu) technical axis of the system.
Second, the bases and fundamentals of skill, which are the elements that Kung Fu provides in the handling of weapons.
Lastly, the combat. Space in which important elements such as strategy, tactics, technique, physical condition and the ability of the fencer are put to the test.
Child Duan Bing
Introduction module to Chinese martial arts for students between 6 and 12 years. This module is based on the progressive introduction of the fundamental dynamic bases to develop the Duan Bing techniques, as well as the optimal general adaptation (elasticity, psychomotricity, concentration, organization, relaxation, discipline and order of practice) and study of the basic forms of the style.
Juvenile Duan Bing
Module initiation and continuation for students between 13 and 16 years. This module is based on the technical introduction and progressive development of fundamental skills for Chinese fencing. Study of intermediate forms and physical preparation focused on practice.
Adult Duan Bing
Fundamentally practical module in which the study of traditional Kung Fu weapons is addressed, both in the field of internal and external styles. Perfect complement for the students of the disciplines of empty hand.
TWO HANDED SWORD
The combat and its training are focused on the use of the two-handed weapon.
ONE HANDED SWORD
The combat and its training are focused on the use of the weapon with the right hand and, occasionally, the use of two hands.
SWORD AND SHIELD
The combat and its training are developed from a model of confrontation between two fighters with shield and sword.
TWO SWORDS
The combat and its training are raised with the use of two weapons following the traditional structure of the double saber.
FREE STYLE
An asymmetric combat model in which the other four modes of use are combined in the same fighting modality.
